BIBLE STUDY OPPORTUNITIES
:

2019 Winter Bible Study

Dates: January 9 – February 16
Topic: Abigail by Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth
Time: Wednesday Mornings, 9:15-11:15am
Location: Fellowship Hall
Workbook: $6

Join us this winter for a 6 week in-depth look at 1 Samuel 25 as we explore the topic of living with the difficult people in your life. God calls us to live life with others, but that can be complicated. The Bible shows us a better way to live: the way of wisdom and hope; the way of Jesus. Through this study we will see how the empowerment of the Holy Spirit can help you deal with difficult people…without becoming difficult yourself! Books are available for $6. For more information or to obtain a copy of the book, please email dorislloyd@hotmail.com.

Childcare will be available for this study. $4 per child per week.

2019 Reading and Discussion Groups
:

Mark your calendar for a 4 week study beginning the week of February 17, 2019

Join us this spring for a short study on the topic of biblical friendship using Jonathan Holme’s book, The Company We Keep: In Search of Biblical Friendship*. Take advantage of the opportunity to engage with other women in a book discussion group that will be held for four consecutive weeks starting the week of February 17. Together we will enjoy an easy read through a topic that affects each of us as we live in community together and answer the question: What does a biblical friendship really look like? Available meeting dates, locations and times vary per group. See group details below. For more information or if you are interested to participate, please contact Liz Cobb (rlcobb11@gmail.com).

*A copy of the book will be made available for free at the Fun Friday event taking place on January 25.

RESOURCES
:

Titus 2:3-5 teaches us that discipleship is very important in the life of women. Danelle Bancroft has written a helpful guide for the deliberate discipleship of women. There are two goals for providing this material: First, to provide a strategic plan for Christians to utilize in learning all of Christ’s word and obeying all of his commands. Second, to have this material utilized in the context of personal relationships where a Christian who has been walking with Jesus longer can walk alongside another Christian to aid them in their learning that leads to greater worship of Christ. Growth happens in relationships as we learn more about our Bible, our God, the Gospel and God’s calling on our lives as women.  A copy of “Follow Me as I follow Christ” is now available as a free download: Follow Me as I Follow Christ.
