Our Path Toward Faithfulness

At Castleview we're passionate about glorifying God. We want to share Him with those who don't yet know Him. We're committed to developing gospel-centered disciples and proclaiming the gospel of Christ to the world.

We are a community of believers, growing and working together toward a common purpose: making Christ real in our own lives, and in the lives of people we touch.

The Christian life is a journey. Part of our journey means that we “do life” together as a local church. We follow the example of the New Testament church (Acts 2:42), making God’s Word and prayer part of everything we do. Collectively, we focus our lives and time on:

  • Worship
  • Fellowship
  • Service
  • Outreach
  • Discipleship

Worship: Sunday Morning
Worship happens every day in the lives of believers as we pursue the One we love and serve. It culminates on Sunday morning as we sing, pray and listen to the preaching of God's Word. Our Sunday morning worship invigorates and motivates us to continue our worship all week long.

Fellowship: Small Groups
Fellowship is where church becomes personal. The book of Acts tells us that the arly church regularly met in believers' homes. We follow this New Testament example by meeting in small Fellowship Groups during the week. By doing so, we develop close relationships, better understand the day-to-day needs withour our small group, maintain accountability and invest in one another's lives.

Service: Ministry Teams
A changed heart and life spills over into the lives of others who need assistance. Sometimes, service takes the form of formal ministry. Our ministry teams work with children and youth, music, hospital visitation, prison inmates and their families and more. Many times, service happens behind-the-scenes, as believers use their time and abilities to help the church operate.

Outreach: Common Grace Groups and Short-Term Mission Trips
Jesus calls us to be "salt" and "light" in the world, by being involved in the lives of people around us. We've dubbed these everyday, personal connections "Common Grace" groups. Sometimes these relationships form in a playground, a sports team, a book club, or a parent/teacher group. At other times, we sponsor church-wide outreach efforts. Each year, we extend our outreach by sending short-term missions teams across the globe.

Discipleship: Bible Classes
Discipleship is a life-long process that's firmly grounded in God's Word. Whether it's our Sunday Morning Bible Classes or other groups that meet throughout the week, our goal is to tackle topics that make the Bible relevant to everyday life. This teaching becomes the catalyst for conversation and personal reflection among believers of all ages and backgrounds.

The path to discipleship begins in our hearts, as we align our time, energy, abilities, and priorities with God's roadmap. So, where are you on the journey toward becoming a gospel-centered disciple? As we learn and grow together, we move closer to becoming the kind of church we want to be.

Living intentionally and setting priorities =

Worship + Fellowship + Service + Outreach + Discipleship
