A Story Worth Telling...

At Castleview we have A STORY WORTH TELLING:
- God is the loving ruler over the world. He made it and all the people who occupy it. (Revelation 4:11)
- We all reject the ruler, God, by trying to run our life without him. But we fail to rule ourselves, society, or the world. (Romans 3:10-12)
- God is righteous and therefore will judge all who rebel against him. (Hebrews 9:27)
- Because of his love, God sent his Son into the world: the man Jesus Christ. Jesus always lived under God's rule. Yet by dying in our place he took our punishment and brought God's forgiveness. (I Peter 3:18)
- God raised Jesus to life again as the ruler of the world. Jesus has conquered death, now gives life, and will return to judge. (I Peter 1:3)
There is a decision to be made:
Reject God the ruler and live life your way. But this will result in God's condemnation of you and his righteous judgment upon you.
OR
Turn from your sinful pursuits and turn to Jesus, putting your trust in him as your Savior, relying on his death and resurrection to be enough to satisfy God's demands. This will result in being forgiven by God and being given eternal life. (John 3:36)
