WOMEN'S FALL RETREAT 2011: "FACE TO FACE" (2 Corinthians 3:18)

It is absolutely humbling to consider that God wants us to have a relationship with Him. The God who made the universe (Ps. 102:25), the God whose "greatness is unsearchable" (Ps. 145:3), the God who is beyond our comprehension (Job 37:23) is the God who graciously reaches out to sinful mankind and invites us to come to Him. This invitation to "draw near" is not simply a one-time event, it is open to us all our lives as believers. God invites us to "draw near"; to know Him intimately through His Word.
As we see His character displayed in the Scripture, our lives are transformed by His awesome glory. As we open God's Word together this weekend we will consider how beholding Him face to face impacts our spiritual growth, our ability to endure, how we fight sin in our lives, and the kind of perspective we maintain during times of difficulty. We encourage you to take the weekend away, with the distractions of life removed, to draw near to God. Take time to tend your relationship with Him, and allow God to use this weekend to make you more like Jesus.
Join us for an overnight retreat at Camp Camby. Our speaker this year will be Kelly Collier, the wife of Matt Collier, Pastor of Bethany Baptist Church in Brevard, North Carolina.
